'Tis the Season to be Jolly
Well, here it is. Christmas time again. Although there is no snow on the ground, and no chill in the air the Christmas season is indeed upon us. Jeff and I decided last weekend that it was time for us to celebrate a familiar holiday. Christmas had hit the stores in Taiwan. It was time. This will be our first Christmas abroad.
Here I am puttin lights on our tree. After returning from a Sunday afternoon shopping trip (which we will never do again as Sunday afternoons are absolute chaos - you can't even get down the rows in the supermarkets) we put up our tree only to realize that we had forgotten to buy any lights. So, back the the store we went.
We bought gold and red balls to hang from our tree. However, they had no strings to hang them from. So out came the sewing kit.
Here is the final product.

Your tree looks lovely! Next weekend I think our decorations are going to come out too.

Hello Michelle and Jeff,
Just want to wish you both Merry Christmas and all that we wish for ourselves in 2007! Good health, prosperity and great travels! You will be able to show the locals how to celebrate a genuine Christmas with your lovely tree. Can you roast a duck there?
fond regards, Sandra
