An afternoon in the Big City

We have made friends with another couple from the UK, Ross and Raya. On this particular sunny Sunday afternoon we headed to Tiachung on our scooters. Road Trip!!!

It's actually only about 45 minutes from our city, but man it has a lot to offer.

We went to this Turkish restaurant for lunch, the food was awesome. Above the girls are enjoying their strong Turkish coffee. Then headed off to a book exchange, a food import store, and off to the Science Museum to the famous historical find of Terracotta Warrior Statues...from hundreds of years ago. But we got their too late, as that exhibit closes earlier. So we walked around a different part of the museum all about technology and space, it would have been much cooler had they had English for everything.
